eToro has introduced integration with Singapore’s Singpass system, allowing new users to verify their identities digitally during account registration.
The move follows the company’s expansion into Singapore in July 2025, when it activated its Capital Markets Services licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The licence enables eToro to offer regulated access to global stocks, ETFs, and derivatives to retail investors in the country.
With the new integration, users can sign up and authenticate via the Singpass app, eliminating the need to manually upload identity documents. Personal details are securely transferred with user’s consent to complete onboarding.
Singpass, Singapore’s national digital identity platform, is widely used for secure access to government and private services.
Once verified, users gain access to eToro’s trading platform, including stocks, commodities, currencies, and other instruments.
