Warsaw-listed broker XTB rolled out a new feature on Tuesday, allowing clients to instantly verify whether an incoming call is genuinely from the company. Users can now request a real-time push notification through the XTB app to confirm a representative is legitimate. The tool also lets clients skip standard security questions during support calls by approving a single push.

The launch follows years of warnings from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority about clone firms using names like “XTB Trading World” and a near-identical fake site. XTB cited a CrowdStrike report finding that vishing attacks rose 442% between the first and second halves of 2024.

CEO Omar Arnaout said client safety is the top priority, adding that financial institutions must “lead with innovation and responsibility” as cyber threats evolve. The feature arrives amid XTB’s rapid expansion — the broker added 864,286 new clients in 2025, a 73% jump.
