eToro has expanded its offerings by adding stocks from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), following a 2023 agreement to enhance investor access to UAE-listed companies. Over 30 ADX stocks from sectors like energy, real estate, banking, tech, and healthcare are now available. The exchange’s market cap exceeds $700 billion.
ADX IPOs surge in 2024
ADX raised $3.35 billion in IPOs this year, ranking as the seventh-largest emerging market exchange with a market cap of $799 billion. It contributed 27% of IPO proceeds in the Middle East and 54% in the UAE. The number of listed securities grew to 187, with 28 new additions.

Trading and derivatives market growth
Total ADX trading value hit AED 342 billion, up 7% from 2023. Foreign investors accounted for 40% of trading, contributing AED 262 billion, while institutions drove 80% of total trades. The derivatives market surged 154%. ADX is now among the world’s top 20 exchanges and the second-largest in the Middle East.
eToro plans U.S. IPO
eToro has submitted a confidential draft IPO filing to the SEC. The number of shares and pricing details remain undisclosed. The IPO will proceed after SEC review, subject to market conditions.
