This significant success follows XTB’s strategic expansion into contracts for differences (CFDs), stocks, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) just over three years ago. Our clientele has doubled since the end of 2021, a clear example of significant growth. This trend reflects a broader global trend in which people are increasingly taking responsibility for managing their financial portfolios.
In 2023 alone, XTB welcomed 312,000 new customers who used our app and digital platform to engage with global financial markets. Our outstanding performance during the year culminated in record results: our consolidated net profit amounted to €175 million and revenue reached €351 million.
Looking to the future, XTB has ambitious plans to expand our products and introduce services that will reach a wider audience. We strive to become more than just a CFD broker, but a comprehensive investment application. Therefore, we are preparing to introduce bonds as a new asset class in our passive portfolio as early as the second quarter of 2024. These bonds will include government and corporate bonds issued by renowned global companies with high credit ratings.
