OANDA, an internationally regulated online broker, announced the provision of financial services in Europe from Poland under the supervision of KNF, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (PFSA).
The broker has registered an office of OANDA TMS Brokers SA in Warsaw, which will be able to work with clients from the European Union. The creation of the new European division came after OANDA closed its operations in Malta.
OANDA has confirmed its intention to operate from Poland by acquiring a 100% stake in Polish broker Dom Maklerski TMS Brokers S.A. (TMS Brokers), which has now been renamed OANDA TMS. TMS was the oldest and second-largest local Polish brokerage company formerly owned by ForeVest Capital.

OANDA, a long-standing merchant services company founded in 1996 in the USA, now operates in all major markets around the world. In addition to the new Polish base, the broker is licensed in other countries, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Singapore, and the UK. This is one of the few brokers legally offering currency trading in the US.
Previously, OANDA partnered with blockchain firm Paxos to launch a cryptocurrency trading service in the United States.
